Returns & Cancellations
Didn’t like the Kotha (saree) you purchased? Changed your mind after receiving your order? No worries. We understand that sometimes you may buy fashion products (Jewellery & Sarees) and later change your mind about using them. We never want you to regret your purchase. Your money matters to us, and we would never want you to spend on something you may not use.
That’s why we offer a simple 3-step return process for our customers. A coupon code equivalent to the value of the returned product will be shared with you for future purchases.
Below are the 3 steps to return your Boyon Kotha purchases.
- Inform:
You are required to share the product name along with an image of the product via email at boyonkotha4u@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. Once we review your request, we will approve the return, after which you may proceed to the next step.
- Return:
After receiving confirmation that your return request has been approved, you must ship the product(s) back to us with all original packaging, placing them safely back into the box or packaging in which they were delivered. The product(s) must be shipped within 5 days from the date of approval of your return request. The shipping cost for returning the product will be borne by the customer.
The product(s) must be unused, in their original condition, and with intact packaging. Refund coupon codes cannot be issued if the product(s) are damaged or returned without original packaging. Please use a reliable courier service to ship the product(s) and share the tracking details with us once the shipment has been dispatched.
- Refund:
The final step begins once we receive the returned package. After receiving your package, we will inform you within 24–48 hours confirming receipt. Once the product passes the quality check, the eligible refund amount will be calculated as per our Refund Policy.
Cancellation of your order:
Orders are generally processed within 2 hours of placement. Orders placed on our website can be cancelled only until they are shipped from our warehouse. For COD orders, we will contact you for confirmation before shipping.
Prepaid orders cancelled before shipping will be refunded based on the customer’s choice—either as a refund coupon code or as a refund to the original payment method (with a deduction of 5% towards payment gateway charges).
Refund Policy
Mode of Refund
Refunds will be issued only in the form of a coupon code credit. This coupon code is for one-time use only and cannot be reused for another order. The coupon code will remain valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and may be used at any time within this validity period.
Applicable Deductions
- A total deduction of ₹250 will apply for prepaid orders that are not accepted. This amount covers the forward and reverse shipping charges when the order is returned to our warehouse. The remaining amount will be issued as a refund coupon code via email. No bank transfer or refund to the original payment source will be provided for undelivered packages that are returned.
- If a refund coupon code from a previous order is used to place a new order and the new order is not accepted, the coupon code will expire and cannot be reused. Please ensure that COD or prepaid orders placed using coupon codes are accepted.
- For prepaid transactions where the amount is deducted from your card or wallet but order confirmation is not received, please contact us before placing another order. We will verify whether the transaction was successfully captured. If a new order is placed without confirming with us, a deduction of 5% towards payment gateway charges will be applied before processing the refund.
- For orders where shipping charges were waived as part of any offer, ₹125 towards shipping from our warehouse to the customer will be deducted while issuing refund coupon codes.
- Customers who use a refund code to place an order and later return that order will be eligible for a maximum of two refund codes linked to the original order.
- If free shipping benefits are applied to orders placed using refund coupon codes, shipping charges worth ₹125 will be deducted if more than two orders are placed using a refund coupon code.
- TOKEN AMOUNT REFUND — Token amounts will not be refunded if a Cash on Delivery order is not accepted, cancelled by the customer, or returned to our warehouse for any reason (₹250 standard deduction applies for the ‘to & fro’ journey of the package).
- If the token amount paid for a COD order exceeds ₹250, the excess amount will be issued as a refund coupon code according to the policy and shared via email.
Eligibility
- All products sold on our website are eligible for return against issuance of a coupon code credit.
- Products that are damaged, used, or returned without original packaging are not eligible for refunds. Such items may be shipped back to you at an additional shipping cost of ₹125, or you may collect them directly from our warehouse.
- Products that are not reported for return within 48 hours or not received by us within 5 days will not be eligible for returns.
- All our products go through multiple levels of quality checks before dispatch. If the quality does not meet your expectations, monetary refunds will not be provided.
Refund Time
- Refund coupon codes will be processed within 3 working days from the date we receive the returned product(s) or receive confirmation of cancellation of the order.
- Refund coupon codes issued will be applicable only if no other offer code is used while placing a new order.
- Only one coupon code can be applied per order. Therefore, orders placed using the refund coupon code cannot use any additional offer coupon codes.
- If a product is received in damaged condition, we will arrange shipment of a replacement for the same product or issue a refund coupon code equivalent to the amount paid for the product.
Damaged Product Received:
All our products go through a '3-Level-Quality Check' and are packed carefully to ensure they reach our customers in the best possible condition. However, in rare cases, due to rough handling during transit by the courier partner, the product may not reach you in the expected condition. In such situations, please follow the steps below:
1) Inform within 48 Hours:
Please record an unboxing video of your package or click clear pictures of the product showing the issue. Send an email within 48 hours of receiving the package to our returns support team at boyonkotha4u@gmail.com and attach all necessary proof for faster resolution. Our team will respond to your email within 48 hours.
2) Reverse Pickup (Only for orders delivered within India):
Once your return is approved and verified as eligible for return and replacement, we will arrange a reverse pickup at no additional cost. The pickup will be attempted within 24 hours after confirmation. Please keep the product ready for pickup. If the product is not ready, the pickup may be cancelled, and you will need to ship the product back to us at your own expense.
3) Resolution:
After successful reverse pickup, we will dispatch a replacement product depending on its availability. Alternatively, we will issue a full refund coupon code equivalent to the value of the product, which will be valid for 1 year from the date of issuance. No monetary refunds will be provided in replacement or damage cases. We will either provide a replacement or issue a refund coupon code.
